Welcome to Darlo Bar, our quirky gem in the heart of Darlinghurst, one of Sydney's most eclectic neighbourhoods and the perfect base to explore the city. 

 

Located two floors above our iconic pub, our 9 double rooms are designed as an extension of Darlinghurst's creative spirit. Warm materials and curated artwork come together to create a stay that feels intimate, comfortable and unmistakably local. Equal parts boutique hotel and residential retreat, each space is layered with character and a sense of home. 

 

With a private entrance and the bar just downstairs, guests can settle in or head down to drink and unwind alongside the locals. There's a rooftop, pool table and a bottle shop stocked with great beers and wines.

DIRECTIONS TO DARLO BAR

 

By Car:


From Sydney Airport-

Darlo Bar is 10.6km from Sydney Airport.

Get on M1 in Eastlakes from Robey St, Wentworth Ave and Exit Southern Cross Drive.

Continue on M1 to Darlinghurst. Take the exit towards Kings Cross from M1.

Follow Crown St to Liverpool St. Darlo Bar will be on your left at 306 Liverpool Street.

 

 

By Public Transport:

 

From Kings Cross Train Station- Darlo Bar is located 450m from Kings Cross Station.

From the Station, walk south on Victoria St towards Brougham Ln.

Turn right onto Darlinghurst Rd. Slight right to stay on Darlinghurst Rd.

Turn left onto Liverpool St and Darlo Bar will be on your left at 306 Liverpool Street.

 

 

THE AREA

 

Perfectly positioned in the heart of Darlinghurst, with Kings Cross Station just a 6-minute walk away and bus stops right at the door.

6km to Bondi Beach (catch the 380)
3.5km to Bondi Junction (5 minutes on the train)
2.5km to Opera House & Harbour Bridge (walk, bus or train)
1.5km to Town Hall (5 minutes on the train)
